THE NATIONAL GOVERNOR'S ASSOCIATION (NGA) to which Maryland Governor Hogan IS THE HEAD OF......just issued the following Press Release:
"WASHINGTON—The National Governors Association, on behalf of the governors in all 55 states and territories, calls upon the Trump Administration to renew the Public Health Emergency (PHE) for COVID-19, set to expire July 25.
The public health emergency facing every state is far from over. Despite months of response to the coronavirus pandemic, many states have hit record numbers of confirmed COVID-19 cases, causing many governors to pause or roll back re-openings.
The U.S. government must ensure governors, states and territories continue to have all the tools necessary to manage the COVID-19 surge. The PHE declaration, along with Stafford Act Declarations, ensures that critical resources, including enhanced FMAP, funding for testing the uninsured, and critical regulatory flexibilities, remain available at the federal and state level.
Without these options, governors’ ability to protect the health and safety of their residents will be reduced at a critical time."

MY RESPONSE:
Governor Hogan, knowingly publicized HIS Press Release concerning the NOVEMBER ELECTION about the same time..... (seen here and through links below).
His opening line:
"After reviewing (the State Board of Elections- SBE) Report on June 2 Election & Recommendations for November 3 Elections, I remain concerned about the series of failures that -- while not intended -- potentially resulted in disenfranchisement and suppression of primary voters. Thousands of Marylanders either did not receive their ballots or received erroneous or late ballots, and thousands more stood in lines for many hours on primary day. This was and remains completely unacceptable."
HE PUFFED UP HIS CHEST AND ADMITS KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRIMARY'S FAILURE‼️
There was more in his one page statement....including the misleading and incorrectly stated legal "fundamental responsibility" of the SBE)! The rest of his commentary used the word in many cases "should"......but never stating (or mandating) or ordering that THIS OR THAT MUST BE DONE.....
HE blathers on about "offering" and "suggestions from political leaders" and "that the state will encourage"......"providing citizens with accessible, accountable, and transparent ways to cast their ballot is an essential component of our democratic republic and your primary responsibility. We expect SBE to live up to that commitment". {End Quote}

In my studied opinion based on my years of experience and the historically factual evidence of failure by the SBE in every election, let me say that NEVER HAS THE SBE provided "citizens with accessible, accountable, and transparent ways to cast their ballot". AND REPEATEDLY has made the same excuses when failing and each time has had the Legislature, Courts and Executive branches COVER FOR THEM....WITHOUT ANYONE EVER BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE❗
✳️(including THIS Governor).
FURTHER, HOGAN who mandates stay at home orders, wearing masks, business closures doesn't MANDATE ANY CHANGES TO ENSURE VOTERS ARE PROVIDED "with accessible, accountable, and transparent ways to cast their ballot" AND DOES NOTHING TO ENSURE OR SECURE THE ACCURACY OF THE RESULTS.... quite the opposite.
BUT WHAT HE DOES DO......with the assistance of his NATIONAL GOVERNOR'S ASSOCIATION "scare letter" is leave the door open to disrupt the November Election due to Covid❗
while leaving the SBE to take the blame, who will in turn DEFLECT AND PROMISE like they have been doing for years swearing it will "never happen again"❗.
Maryland 20-20 Watch has published the unimpeached evidence for over a decade.
⚠️THE NOVEMBER ELECTION WILL BE INUNDATED BY FAILURE AND CONTROVERSY - AGAIN...AND IT WILL ALL BE COVID'S FAULT❗(While Hogan and his governors will continue to rob the treasury and violate American's Liberty).
YOUR GOVERNOR has only offered HIS OPINION to the State Board of Elections WHILE NOT ADDRESSING EVEN ONE OF THE ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES HE NOTED IN THE FIRST PARAGRAPH OF HIS LETTER TO THE SBE❗
⚠️BY acknowledging them on official signed State letterhead, he is admitting to his personal knowledge of a crime.....a Federal crime!
(But then he's known about it for many years, being party to it❗).
⚠️ANY ONE OF THEM IS REASON TO HAVE "THROWN OUT THE RESULTS" of the last election❗
*️⃣((The Chairman of the MDGOP Mr Dirk Haire, just posted that Hogan "ORDERED"..... he didnt "ORDER" a damn thing.))
And a state senator posted Hogan "DIRECTED", which he did no such thing....
I defy anyone to show me where in his Press Release he "ORDERED" or "DIRECTED" anything‼️
